~~ The meeting was held at Ellen's Seafood Restaurant on June 5, 2008.~ Called to order at 4:55 with the following present: Cindy Snowdon, Deb Scanlon, JoAnn Doke, and John Fitch.~ Jeanette Colpitt and Joan Funk were excused.
~
~~ Review of minutes:~ JoAnn motioned to accept May minutes as written, Seconded by Cindy Snowdon- all voted to accept.
~
~~ Old Business:~ The High School shop class had problems w/ the letters on the parking lot sign but will get it back to us before school lets out.~ Debbie will call JoAnn re: photo op.~~ John will call Joan or Cindy to assist w/ John's hedge trimming skills.
~
~~ Decals:~ The members chose some of the businesses they will approach to ask a donation for decals.~ Cindy's son is printing a small instruction sheet to go w/ decals .
~~~ Miscell:
~~ Debbie volunteered to do a spread sheet to keep track of businesses & dues.
~~ JoAnn will ask Ed to run a banner on Ch. 26 urging townspeople to "keep it local" when shopping, etc.
~~ Debbie made a motion to reimburse JoAnn for an ink cart for her publicity efforts, agendas etc.~ Seconded by Cindy- approved by those present.~
~
~~ Ribbon cuttings:~ Country Daisy asked a member if since they didn't ever have a ribbon cutting could they do something for their 5th year anniversary.~ Debbie to get more info on this-
~~ JoAnn to contact 3-4 more businesses- Suggestions:

~~ Decided to tentatively set for July 17, 2008 prior to reg meeting.~ JoAnn to notify members & also John Nolan of Rochester Times.

~~ Motion by Cindy to adjourn w/ John seconding.~ Motion passed by all.~ 5:30 pm
